There are many golf courses to choose from that are within an hour of Zion National Park. The closest is the Sky Mountain Golf Course, located in Hurricane, UT. It is an 18-hole, par-72, public course. Due to mild winters, most courses in the area offer year-round golfing opportunities. If you are traveling with your pet there are pet-friendly accommodations in the Zion area. Pets must be leashed at all times when in the park. Dogs are only allowed on the Pa'rus Trail.

Driftwood Lodge
This large, ranch-style property is located on the Virgin River. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi are available seasonally. The town shuttle stops at the inn and also provides service to the park. Rooms are available in a variety of sizes and most have views of the park. The largest rooms sleep up to six people. Free wireless Internet is available in guest rooms and in the lobby.
The lodge does not have a specified pet weight limit, but there is a pet fee. As of December 2009, the pet-friendly building is being renovated to add private backdoor entrances and patios.

Guests are treated to a complimentary breakfast and free high-speed Internet access. Parking and local phone calls are free of charge. All rooms are nonsmoking and range in size from rooms with two double beds to king-size suites with kitchenettes. Golf packages are available.
There is a daily pet fee. Pets must weigh under 30 lbs. and there is a limit of one pet per room.
