Secret Hotels in Las Vegas

Secret Hotels in Las Vegas
Las Vegas' mild winter weather and clear desert air makes golf accessible year-round and the city offers a wide assortment of courses, from the country club setting and luxury of the Wynn golf course to the traditional Desert Pines course. Vegas offers more hotel rooms than any other city in the world, so there are plenty of places to stay, but Las Vegas offers a few hotels that still remain well-kept secrets.

The Artisan Hotel

This small, art-inspired hotel was the first in Las Vegas to offer accommodation without gaming. Rooms and public spaces all feature artwork from masters as diverse as Picasso and Chagall, and the rooms all feature inspired, singular design, including warm tones and materials and open floor plans. Lunch and dinner are available at Mona Lisa, which serves rustic Italian cuisine from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. as well as a Sunday champagne brunch. This hotel is located at the north end of the Strip, making it convenient to much of Vegas while still offering a retreat from it.

The Green Valley Ranch Resort

This AAA four-diamond hotel is located just three miles from the Las Vegas strip and it offers a self-contained resort with spa facilities, dining, a movie theater, shows and gaming, in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. If you want all the benefits of Vegas without actually having to be on the strip, book the Green Valley Ranch, and golf just a mile away at the Desert Willow Golf Course. Rooms in this Mediterranean-inspired resort include 24-hour hot tub access, gym access, personal service and 24-hour in-room dining.

Skylofts

The MGM Grand is far from a secret, but at the top of the hotel is another, smaller hotel, called Skylofts, that offers a retreat from the glitz and volume of Vegas right in the heart of the action. This small luxury hotel is not only a AAA five-diamond accommodation as well as a Mobil five-star hotel, it is also a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World. With impeccable views, luxurious all-suite accommodations that feature designs by Tony Chi, steam rooms in every master bathroom, 32-inch televisions by every bathtub and unmatched views of the Las Vegas strip.
