Danbury, located near the southern edge of the Berkshire Mountains in western Connecticut, is the seventh largest city in the state. Danbury is home to Richter Park Golf Course, an 18-hole golf course that was voted one of America's top 25 public courses by Golf Digest. The city also attracts visitors to the Danbury Fair Mall, featuring more than 170 stores and restaurants. At the end of a day of shopping or golfing, enjoy dinner at one of Danbury's Italian restaurants.

Castello Restaurant

Castello Restaurant, a fine dining restaurant housed in a brick building, features a full bar with an extensive wine list. Lunch and dinner are served daily. Entrees include pastas, salads, seafood, steaks and pizza. Cesar salads are prepared tableside. Children are welcome.

Cafe on the Green Restaurant

Cafe on the Green Restaurant, overlooking Richter Park Golf Course, is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Cafe on the Green's dining area seats 120 people with more seating available outside for up to 60 people. Northern Italian cuisine is served with an extensive wine list featuring 18 house wines. Sunday brunch includes a complimentary bread basket and mimosa, Bloody Mary or Bellini.

Nico's Pizza & Pasta‎

Nico's Pizza & Pasta‎, a family friendly restaurant, serves Italian favorites. Bread is made in house, and specialties include eggplant parmigiana, meatball sandwiches and pizza. Eat-in dining is available as well as carryout and delivery. Nico's is open Monday through Saturday for dinner and lunch.
