Car Rentals in Kahului, HI

Car Rentals in Kahului, HI
Unlike Oahu, Maui does not have a convenient bus system. The easiest way to get around Maui is by simply renting a car. This is especially true if you'll be hauling your golf club bags to one of the many courses in the area such as Kaanapali Golf Course or Makena Resort. You'll find numerous car-rental offices at Kahului airport. However, it is a good idea to book in advance as it's not uncommon for a rental company to run out of vehicles.

Maui Car Rentals

Maui Car Rentals is a locally owned car rental company. Unlike most chains, Maui Car Rentals actually picks customers up curbside from the airport and takes them to their offices on Dairy Road. Unfortunately, because it is a small, locally owned business, it isn't open for as long or as late as the national companies and its offices are closed on Sundays. The company offers a range of vehicles, including Jeep, Mustang convertibles and large SUVs like the Buick Rendezvous. They offer daily and weekly rates. Customers between 21 and 24 years old must pay an additional $10 per day (as of 2009).
