Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi
The Inn of the Anasazi is a relative newcomer to downtown Santa Fe, having been built in 1991. Its guestrooms and common areas were renovated in 2006. Each room offers a DVD player and Wi-Fi Internet access. A gas-fired kiva fireplace is available in some rooms. The hotel is non-smoking, and it's decorated in traditional Native American motifs, original artwork and weavings. The long vigas in the ceiling was carved from tree trunks.
The Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi has a restaurant serving Southwestern cuisine. Valet parking and laundry services are available. Prices are high, as with all hotels off the Plaza. Dogs are allowed for a fee, and stationary bikes are available by request.

La Fonda
This luxury hotel at the very end of the historic Santa Fe Trail has been accommodating travelers since it was built in 1922, but previous inns at the same location date to at least the 1820s. Wandering the Native American-themed hallways of this old hotel, one is reminded of "The Shining." The enormous, ornately decorated lobby level features dark woods, a restaurant serving regional cuisine, a bar, a concierge/tour services desk and a crepe restaurant. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Guests may enjoy a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub, spa services, a fitness center and steam rooms. Rooms and suites offer all the modern amenities, including Serta Dynasty beds, Egyptian cotton sheets and coffee makers.

Hotel Plaza Real
The rustic, non-smoking Hotel Plaza Real was built in 1990. It has a warm, welcoming lobby filled with Southwestern art and accents. It opens into a traditional courtyard. Rooms feature all the standard amenities, including deluxe bedding, a balcony and a wood-burning fireplace in most of the 56 rooms and suites. Free wireless Internet access in provided to all guests. The junior suites have a wet bar and refrigerator; deluxe suites have a microwave and entertainment room in addition to all of the amenities given with junior suites. The presidential suite has a jetted tub, a full kitchen and a large balcony with mountain views. Hotel services and amenities include spa services, paid underground parking, a business meeting space, concierge services and a lounge with live entertainment on weekends.
