The Lemp Mansion Restaurant and Inn
The Lemp Mansion Restaurant and Inn is a historic home converted into a restaurant and inn located in the historic Cherokee neighborhood of St. Louis. The Lemp Mansion was once owned by the Lemp family, successful beer manufacturers during the mid 1800s. After a string of tragedies and suicides in or near the mansion, rumors about ghosts haunting the mansion swirled. Today, guests visit and stay at the mansion, some of which are looking for a ghostly experience. The Lemp Mansion contains six suites complete with Victorian-style accommodations and furnishings. Each suite is named for a different member of the Lemp family; the Charles Lemp Suite is the location where Charles Lemp committed suicide in 1949.
