Thai Restaurants in Wasilla, Alaska

Thai Restaurants in Wasilla, Alaska
Wasilla, Alaska, is in the heart of the Matanuska-Susitna valley of southcentral Alaska. Surrounded by mountains, it is a breathtaking and grand area. Not known for being a golf destination, it does have more than its fair share of courses. You can get in a few rounds at the Settler's Bay Club or the Palmer Golf Club. During your golfing here, you may end up having to share the course with moose or bears. When you finish up on the course, Wasilla has many fine restaurant options, including Thai bistros.

Mekong Thai Cuisine

Just off the Glenn Parks Highway, Mekong Thai Restaurant is a tucked-away and hidden gem of dining in the valley. Its unassuming surroundings don't give justice or due to the amazing cuisine and range Mekong offers the guest. Mekong's fresh rolls are considered some of the best in Alaska, and the nam sod (ground pork with lemon grass, cilantro and peppers) is a true Thai delight. A full lunch or dinner menu is available with portions sized accordingly. A range of salads, from a green house salad to Thai salads are offered, as well as a full menu of soups. Mekong also offers red, green and yellow curry, Thai iced teas, desserts and a beer and wine selection.
