Myrtle Beach Attractions for Labor Day

Myrtle Beach Attractions for Labor Day
In Myrtle Beach, a premier summer beach destination, residents and visitors celebrate Labor Day weekend with a nonstop party and dozens of attractions to send off the summer in style. Whether you hit the waves, tee off at sunrise, saddle up a horse or spend the day at an amusement park, you are sure to have a wild weekend full of fun.

Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival

One of the greatest Labor Day events on the Atlantic coast, Myrtle Beach's Beach Boogie and BBQ pairs great music with dancing, beach fun and a giant barbeque cook-off, along with a car show and games. Held in conjunction with the Sun Fun Festival that keeps Myrtle Beach rocking all summer long, the Beach Boogie wraps up the concert series with one final party. The festival was added to the line-up in 2005, and the city made it an annual event due to its popularity and excellent turnout. Family Kingdom Amusement and Water Park

Family Kingdom Amusement and Water Parks have something to offer your whole family, from the tiniest tot to the bravest teenager or adult. Along with classic amusements, such as bumper cars, a carousel and log flume, the ride park also features an enormous wooden roller coaster and the tallest Ferris wheel in South Carolina. Located right next to the ocean, the water park is home to high-speed slides, a lazy river and children's playground. Family Kingdom is open late for Labor Day weekend, and there is no charge to visit the park. If you want to take advantage of the rides, you need to purchase a wristband for one or both parks.
