Hermosa Inn
Once the hand-built ranch home of famous Southwestern artist Alonzo "Lon" Megargee, the Hermosa Inn is a restaurant with a luxury hotel attached. Named Lon's, the award-winning restaurant offers personalized service in a selection of intimate seating indoors and outdoors. It is in the top five of Phoenix-Scottsdale restaurants. The hotel has no rooms, offering only 34 luxury casitas, the equivalent of studio- and one-bedroom apartments. Fully equipped with amenities ranging from Keurig coffee makers to plush robes and slippers, the Inn is a luxury experience. No golf course is on the six-acre natural desert site, but the Inn maintains arrangements and transportation to and from the leading area golf courses.

Intercontinental Montelucia
The most recent addition to Paradise Valley's luxurious resorts, the Intercontinental Montelucia is designed like southern Spanish towns. Casitas are located in clusters of villages and plazas across the property. Natural desert landscape, luxuriously appointed rooms and arrangements with Phoenix-Scottsdale golf courses, the Montelucia is more a villa than a resort. The Prado restaurant is located in the resort's main plaza, along with the award-winning Joya spa.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort
History alone makes the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain a special place to stay. Literally hidden in the hills above Paradise Valley, the 105-casita resort and spa also has a collection of private mountaintop homes for family or large group stays. Built in the 1950s by actor John Ireland and Charlie Chaplin's son, it was originally a very private tennis ranch. Completely rebuilt in 2001, the Sanctuary has provided privacy and seclusion for celebrities such as Elton John, Bill Cosby, and a number of actors and politicians. It still features championship tennis facilities. The casitas have body-contouring featherbeds, Fronte coffee and tea, private bar and private business centers with high-speed Internet, along with two-line phones with conferencing capability.
