Things to Do in Orlando, Florida in November
November is one of the best times to visit Orlando because Florida is finally getting out of hurricane season, the cooler weather and reduce humidity have settled in, and because the November-December holiday season is generally less crowded as folks tend to want to spend those days with family. So if you do make it to Orlando, check out some of these activities.

Golf

The reduced rates may disappear by November, but the courses are usually in prime condition after a rainy summer and fall. Shop around for good deals on golf resorts and be prepared to tee it up in Orlando, while most of the rest of the country is putting away their golf clubs for a long winter's nap. You may find that Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge is one of the prettiest, best-maintained public courses in the country. While you are at it, check out the award-winning Shingle Creek Golf Club and Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club and Lodge, which is consistently named as one of Florida's best courses year in and year out.

Believe in Magic

The Orlando Magic's season is in full swing by November. The NBA Eastern Conference powerhouse plays in the Amway Arena, an easy to get to destination that also features concerts, comedy shows and other events in between Magic games.

Theme Parks

November might just be the best month to visit the Orlando theme parks. The weather is perfect and the crowds are smaller because school is in session and most folks don't think to visit the parks on or around Thanksgiving weekend. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs through early November and is not to be missed if wine tasting, culinary clinics and other activities are your specialties.

The Theater

The Orlando Shakespeare Theater features modern plays as well as classics by the Bard beginning in September and running through November and into the spring.
