Shady Rest Restaurant
Located a mile inland from Barnegat Bay, Shady Rest Restaurant has been a Berkeley Township institution for decades. The menu is a mix of European, traditional American and southwestern cuisine. In addition to the standard gamut of steaks, pizzas and seafood, featured dishes are Bob Pop's ribs and the linguini in clam sauce. You can eat your meal in the restaurant's outdoor rose garden or in the trendy, laid-back interior. The bar constantly reshuffles its list of specialty drinks. Shady Rest serves lunch and dinner and is just over 2 miles from the Township of Berkeley Golf Course.

Rivoli's Italian & Seafood Restaurant
Located on the Ocean Beach Marina, Rivoli's Italian & Seafood Restaurant is a relatively new and trendy Italian eatery. The restaurant was chosen as having the "Best Casual Italian" food by New Jersey Monthly. Featured dishes include the Fra Diablo and, one of the owner-chef's originals, the Shrimp de Micci. The restaurant's decor draws from Mediterranean mural work. The ambiance is romantic, and the dress code is formal casual. Rivoli's is open seven days a week and serves both lunch and dinner. Reservations are strongly recommended.
