Miami, Florida, has great weather all year long, making it a great place to play golf. Of course, there are plenty of things to do. If you are taking a golf vacation to Miami and need some other activities, you will find a number of options sure to meet your needs.

Scuba Dive Artificial Reefs

Miami has clear water with a nice average temperature of around 72 degrees. If you are interested in scuba diving, there are 10 artificial reefs offshore from Hollywood to Biscayne Bay. South Beach Divers can set you up with a group going out to dive. Don't worry if you are not scuba certified--they can help get you certified within a few days.

Swim with Dolphins

The Miami Seaquarium has a couple of dolphin interaction programs that allow visitors to get up close and personal. If you are at least 52 inches tall, you can even get a ride on a dolphin. Children must be at least 5 years old for the dolphin encounter.

Learn to Windsurf

Sailboard Miami specializes in outdoor water activities, offering kayaking, windsurfing, kiteboarding and stand-up paddlesurfing. They even promise to teach people how to windsurf in only two hours. Look for them on Windsurfer Beach in Miami.

Stroll

The Miami Beach boardwalk is four miles long and runs from 5th to 46th Street. It is part paved and part wooded. You get to see Ocean Drive and the Art Deco district, as well as the beach and hotels that line the surf.

Doral Golf Resort & Spa
