Sea Thai
The chef at Sea Thai once sold street food from a cart in Thailand and her passion for her native cuisine is translated into delicacies for her customers. Appetizers range from familiar rolls and wontons to less-well known options like fried eggplant stuffed with pork and served with a chili dipping sauce and somtum (green papaya shredded in a marinated of lime juice, peanuts and tomatoes). The menu features soups; salads; red, green and yellow curries; noodles; fried rice; and seafood, pork, beef or chicken plates. Menu highlights include tom kha gai (coconut chicken soup) and ho mok talay (steamed mixed seafood served in a coconut shell in a red curry with coconut milk, basil, bamboo shoots and bai cha plu leaves). Most dishes can be made vegetarian. The desserts are homemade, including the ice cream (try the Mutant Coconut). Diners watching their sugar intake can request an artificial sweetener in some entrées. Delivery available.
