The Super 8 Motel of Valley City has free wireless Internet as well as a small refrigerator in each of its rooms. The motel allows pets to stay for an additional fee and has smoking rooms, if desired. This Super 8 does not have rooms that are handicapped accessible. Several restaurants are nearby although continental breakfast is served at the motel in the morning. If the visitor will be on the golf course during most of his stay and requires a motel that has no frills, the Super 8 Motel of Valley City can provide a room at a reasonable rate.

This Inn has been providing accommodations since 1983. Guests can choose from 88 standard rooms or suites. The suites range in size from a mini-suite with one king-size bed to the grand suite with a kitchenette, couch and three queen-size beds. Suites include either a refrigerator and microwave or a kitchenette for in-room meal preparation. Less than a mile northeast of the Inn is Medicine Wheel Park, where the visitor may walk through the garden, view the Native American burial mounds or hike to a scenic view of the Sheyenne River.
