Samoset Resort
This 230-acre seasonal resort is home of the 18-hole championship Samoset Golf Course. All of the 178 luxurious rooms have views of either the ocean, the golf course or the surrounding grounds. Open from late April through late November, the resort offers rooms with lavish decor, wireless Internet, king or queen bed, coffee maker, king or queen bed, iron and ironing board, private balcony or terrace and hairdryer. Ledges by the Bay
Ledges by the Bay is located near Clam Cove, about three miles north of Rockland center. It is set in the quiet Glen Cove area of the city, about one mile north of Samoset Golf Club. The hotel is set on nine acres of land adjacent to Penobscot Bay atop a hill overlooking the ocean. Guests enjoy direct access to the shore. The 41 units come in four different classes. All units have cable TV, individual heat and air conditioning and an in-room telephone with free local calling. Some rooms have WiFi access, fridge and private balconies.
