Skytop Lodge
As you drive past the stone-pillar entrance to the 5,500-acre Skytop Lodge resort, you're transported back to the golden era of luxury Pocono resorts. Uniformed doormen at the Dutch colonial-style manor house usher you into the expansive, elegant lobby, where you can relax by the fireplace, read a book and enjoy mid-afternoon tea to the sounds of the baby grand piano. Accommodations include the five-story stone lodge, the Streamside Cottages and the modern Inn at Skytop, overlooking Skytop Lake. The inn houses the pro shop for the 18-hole championship golf course, rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest. The golf facilities also include the Brian Boyle School of Golf. For guests seeking a break from golf, Skytop offers full-service spa, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center, tennis and platform tennis courts, an adventure center, a fishing school, a shooting range and more than 30 miles of hiking trails.
