Woolloongabba Hotels

Woolloongabba is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia and is home to The Gabba, a 42,000-seat cricket stadium. There's plenty of shopping, restaurants, and pubs scattered throughout the city, and there are plenty of golf courses in the area, too. Perhaps most notable is The Victoria Park Golf Complex, which houses its own 18-hole course, two-story driving range, putt-putt and pro shop. With so much golf, you're going to need lots of time, so take at least a few days on your trip, and stay in one of Woolloongabba's exceptional hotels.

Diana Plaza Hotel

This stylish 4 1/2-star hotel boasts 67 rooms, including several spa suites which come with kitchenettes. It's conveniently located only 2 minutes (driving) to the center of Brisbane and a short walk to The Gabba. Norman Hotel

The Norman Hotel is a family-friendly hotel that looks like a saloon out of the American Old West--and fittingly so, because it's not just a hotel, it's also a steakhouse. Here, you can choose your own cut of meat and have one of Norman Hotel's chefs cook it up for you.
