Wendover is a small town in eastern Utah, along the Nevada border. The Wendover area encompasses both Wendover, Utah and West Wendover, Nevada. Visitors usually come to Wendover to gamble at the various casinos on the Nevada side of Wendover, but the area offers some quality golf as well. The best-known course is the municipal Toana Vista golf course, which offers sweeping desert and mountain views. If golfers would like to cool off with a swim after a long day on the links, the Wendover area features hotels with indoor swimming pools.

If travelers want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Wendover casinos, the Days Inn Wendover is a comfortable and affordable choice. Montego Bay is the flagship property for the Resorts at Wendover, located on the Nevada side of the Wendover area. The hotel includes a 24-hour casino with several hundred slot machines, a sports book and numerous other gaming opportunities. Restaurants and a sports bar are located on-site. Guests can book a standard room or a Jacuzzi suite. All rooms include 42-inch LCD televisions, high-speed Internet access, telephones and a comfortable sitting area. Montego Bay's main swimming pool is outdoors, but, as a Resorts at Wendover property, Montego Bay offers a free shuttle to its sister facility, Rainbow Casino, where guests can use the large indoor pool. As of December 2009, it is possible to book a standard room for less than $100 a night. Expect a suite to cost about $150.
