Brevard, North Carolina, is a little town surrounded by mountains just outside Pisgah National Forest. Many people visit the area each year for the festivals, outdoor activities and downtown shops, as well as the college and Brevard Music Center. You will find golf at Glen Cannon Country Club, where you can play along rolling hills, waterfalls and streams. There are more hotels in the area than there used to be, but if you are planning to come during a popular time, such as fall when the leaves change, book ahead.
