Kittery is a small seaside town in southern Maine, just over the border from New Hampshire. It is a popular destination, full of beautiful bed and breakfast hotels and many boutique stores. Although there is no golf course in the town itself, there are a number of courses nearby, including the Ledges Golf Course in York, the Cape Neddick Country Club in Ogunquit and the Cochecho Country Club across the border in Dover, New Hampshire. Although there are a number of restaurants in Kittery, none are especially vegan friendly. Thankfully, a number of restaurants serving vegan fare can be found in nearby towns where there is golf.

Taste of India
Taste of India is located just over the border in New Hampshire, only a few miles from Kittery. As many people staying in Kittery head south to courses such as the award-winning Golf Club of New England and Breakfast Hill Golf Club, Dover makes a nice stopover point on your return trip, to get a filling dinner after a long day on the links. Although the menu features many meat dishes, there is a vegetarian section as well, with many dishes suitable for vegans. Channa masala, tofu masala, bangan bhartha and aloo matar are just a few of the vegan options to be found on the menu at Taste of India, and the staff will gladly substitute roti or another egg-free bread for the non-vegan naan with your meal.
