The Bahamas is a great spot for a vacation. The beautiful ocean, lush breezes and inviting scenery make it a wonderful spot to while a way a day and a night. The Lucayan Course
The Lucayan Course in Freeport is the oldest golf course in the Bahamas. It features cavernous bunkers that you have to avoid at all costs and wickedly fast greens. The fairways are in great shape, and if you keep the ball there you will be rewarded. Send it into the rough and you will be punished. The course is rarely crowded to capacity so you can enjoy an unrushed round.
The Blue Shark
The Blue Shark Golf Course in Nassau is a great course for high-handicap golfers who struggle under difficult conditions. The Blue Shark is a par-71, 7,100-yard course that has inviting fairways and a beautiful tree-lined setting. Designed by golfing great Greg Norman, the Blue Shark is a course that features water hazards on most holes that can be avoided with reasonably accurate play.
Treasure Cay Golf Club
The Treasure Cay Golf Club on the island of Abaco is a very tough 6,895-yard course designed by Dick Wilson. While this course can be tamed by long and accurate hitters, it offers very tight fairways with a lot of twists and turns. The course is lush and beautiful with plenty of water hazards and bunkers. The greens are undulating and fast.
