Best Las Vegas Courses For 10+ Handicappers
There are some outstanding golf courses in the Las Vegas area that range from extremely difficult to forgiving. High handicap golfers don't have to worry about playing courses that are too difficult. While the Bali Hai Country Club is memorable and eye-catching, it may not be the best course for a golfer with a handicap of 10 or more. There are a number of excellent courses that a high-handicap golfer can play without much trouble.

Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas

Reflection Bay is a Jack Nicklaus-designed course that combines desert beauty with a serious golfing challenge. There are waterfalls, arroyos and trees that give the course a distinct southwestern feel. There are a number of elevation changes throughout the course that challenge the high handicapper, but the golfer is also rewarded with beautiful fairways that allow solid approach shots to the green.
Reflection Bay, 75 MonteLago Blvd., Henderson, Nevada, 89011; (702) 740-4653.

Dragon Ridge

Dragon Ridge in Henderson is built into the mountains. While the rocks come into play and there are some difficult shots, it is a also a beautiful course that features a number of different landing areas on holes that feature soft greens. The back nine can be tough but the front nine is quite inviting.

Primm Valley Golf Course

The Primm Valley Golf Course offers a spectacular desert course that features some of most beautiful scenery in Nevada. There is plenty of water that comes into play, but there are also wide fairways that give a golfer an opportunity to pitch to the greens. While some of the greens are on the small side, the putting is fair and there are birdie and par opportunities.
