SoHo
SoHo Bar offers a trendy, Manhattan-like setting in the heart of the Chippewa club district. The bar spans two floors with an outside patio for summer nights and pane-glass windows to look out on the masses. The first floor is more of a bar scene, and the second level has a decent-sized dance floor and speakers blaring the top dance tracks. SoHo has promotional nights nearly every week, from Miller Lite girls to buy one, get one free Mike's Hard Lemonade. If that's not enough to lure you in, SoHo is one of the favorite spots for a number of players on the Buffalo Sabres.

Mister Goodbar
Chippewa isn't the only game in town, as the Elmwood Avenue scene is quite popular for the younger, jeans-over-slacks crowd. With more than 30 beers on tap, Mister Goodbar is the perfect place to go drinking with your buddies by Buff State, but the first-level outdoor patio also provides a quieter ambiance for a meet-up with a Saturday-night date. The bartenders are some of the friendliest in town and will even loan you some coins to sling in the jukebox if your tastes line up with theirs. On the second Wednesday of every month, patrons can pay a fee to join the Good Beer Club, where you'll get to sample some new innovative microbrews. Each night has its own theme, such as the evolution of European styles in American brewing or stout tasting. Wings and food are also included in the package.
