Tropicana Las Vegas
The Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the older establishments on the strip, but this hotel still manages to feel vibrant. With five landscaped acres of lush vegetation, pools and gardens, guests will feel like they are in a tropical paradise. This is also the only major hotel on the strip that has an indoor pool. The heated 15,000 square foot pool is open year-round, and also boasts the world's only swim up blackjack tables. For the kids, there is an arcade in the casino, as well as a buffet sure to please even the pickiest eater. Guests should note that the pool will be closed from November 2009 to May 2010 for renovations. Rooms at the Tropicana range from about $70 to $100 per night, as of December 2009.

This all-suite hotel is located just off the Vegas strip. Each room has a separate living room and a pull out sofa. The indoor pool is sure to be a hit with the kids, and parents will love the proximity to the strip and all the activities available there. The restaurant in the hotel includes a children's menu and serves complimentary made to order breakfast entrees. Rooms are approximately $85 to $145 per night as of December 2009.
