With the nickname of "The Chosen Valley," Chatfield, Minnesota, is a small community of less than 2,500 residents and located 100 miles southeast of the city of Minneapolis. Chatfield sits adjacent to a region known as Minnesota's Bluff Country, an area that is recognized for its bike trails, bald eagle viewing and a local Amish community whose products--especially quilts and furniture--are proudly carried in Chatfield stores.
For golfers, Chatfield is home to the Chosen Valley Country Club, a semi-private, 18-hole course, as well as the Chosen Valley Golf Club, which is a nine-hole public course. Within a 20-mile radius visitors with a desire to golf can also access the Maple Valley Golf and Country Club, the St. Charles Golf Club, the Old Barn Resort Course, the Preston Golf & Country Club and the Lanesboro Golf Club.
