Remember When Diner
From the patterned linoleum floor to the shiny jukebox, Remember When Diner evokes the 1950s. The food is timeless, too--for instance, at breakfast you can order country ham and eggs, corned beef hash or eggs with a sampling of bacon, sausage and ham. Meat eaters also enjoy the sirloin, chicken fried steak or steak tips served with eggs. The omelets are crowd pleasers, too, such as tomatoes, onions and peppers, and cheddar cheese and ham. Rounding out the menu, you'll find pancakes with or without fruit, Belgian waffles and French toast made from a family recipe.

Gateway Family Restaurant
Gateway is a welcoming, family-oriented restaurant in nearby Somersworth. You won't go hungry here, especially if you order The Gateway Big Breakfast featuring two eggs, two pieces each of bacon and sausage and one side selection (pancakes, French toast or a Belgian waffle). If you're not quite that ambitious, try a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese and meat on a bagel or English muffin) or an omelet with your choice of ingredients. A lot of patrons keep going back for the Gateway Scrambler--scrambled eggs with meats, cheeses and veggies, served with two side dishes such as potato or silver-dollar pancakes.
