New York New York is a night club with a long-standing in Clearwater and bills itself as a drinking, dancing and eating establishment. A casual menu offers appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pizza and quesadillas at affordable prices. Monday night is Karaoke night, which is the quietest night of the week at New York New York. Live local bands play on Tuesday and Thursdays. Wednesdays are for ladies night. A DJ spins a collection of old and new dance music on Thursdays and Fridays. There is a strict dress code that forbids tank tops, cut offs, ripped jeans, hats, flip flops and athletic wear. The club is open until 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sundays.

The Wave Nightclub
The Wave Nightclub is located inside of the Shephard's Beach Resort and is a popular Spring Break party destination. This two-story night club features a view of the Gulf and a light show. The Wave is opens for dancing Friday through Sunday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. House DJs spin hip-hop, house and techno music. The Friday night specials are $3 Jameson shots and $3 Bacardi drinks from 9 p.m. to 12 p.m. The Saturday night drinks specials showcase $3 Malibu drinks and $4 Long Island Ice Teas. Thursday is known as Comedy Club night, featuring live comic performances. Drink specials include $5 martinis and $4 belly busters. Shephard's Tiki Bar is located only a few steps away for patrons seeking a two-for-one nightlife experience.

Freaki Tiki Bar
Freaki Tiki Bar houses a bar, projection TV, dance floor, game room, darts and outdoor deck. There is no dress code or cover charge. The emphasis here is on casual and body shots and dancing on the bar are all fair game. Sundays feature $10 buckets of Corona and hospitality pricing. Tuesday is ladies night where ladies drink Wells and Margaritas for free. Thursdays feature $5 beer buckets. Free burgers and hot dogs are served on Fridays 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and happy hour drink specials. A DJ spins Thursdays through Saturdays. Saturday features a mix of eighties music and new hits. Island inspired cuisine is served such as bacon wrapped shrimp and a jerk and pulled pork melt. Island-style pizza is also on the menu with seafood and Caribbean toppings.
