Florida Golf Resorts
Many golfers from northern and midwestern cities and towns dream that nothing is better than taking a vacation at a Florida golf resort during the cold of winter. There are plenty of choices for the golfer if he is lucky enough to enjoy such a trip. Not only are the golf courses beautiful, but there are plenty of amenities that will satisfy the golfer and his family during their vacation.

Doral Country Club

There are five courses at the Doral Country Club, the most famous of which is the Blue Monster. This is a 7,125-yard course that demands long driving and accurate fairway play. The bunkers are deep and treacherous and there are numerous water hazards throughout the course. The other four courses at Doral are only slightly less difficult. There are several restaurants on the property as well as a full-service spa.

Sawgrass Resort and Spa

Sawgrass Resort and Spa features one of the most challenging courses in the world. The Players' Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is a tough test that features extremely tight fairways that require accuracy. The greens are lightning quick and the course features water hazards and bunker play throughout. It also has six restaurants, a full-service spa and the beach is just 10 minutes away.

Walt Disney World Resort

This may be the best destination if you want to combine golf with a stellar family vacation. While you are playing on the Disney Golf Club, your family can be enjoying a day at the amusement park that will leave all parties happy. There are five great courses including the walking-only Oak Trail. Check out the Mickey Mouse-shaped bunkers if you happen to hit your ball in one.
