Banff Nightclubs
Banff is a small town in Banff National Park in Alberta, one of the most stunning mountain areas in the world. The peaks in Banff National Park are glaciated and provide a variety of challenges to visiting climbers. It also provides a stunning backdrop for golfers who prefer to enjoy the mountains from afar. Popular courses include the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, a par 71 with 7,000 yards of terrain, and the Silvertip Golf Resort, 15 miles east of Banff in Canmore.

Aurora Nightclub

Aurora Nightclub is probably Banff's most popular destination for those who want to go dancing. The wood dance floor is spacious and has a great sound and light system, and DJs spin every night. As of winter 2009, they host a locals night on Sundays with $2 drafts, and karaoke on Thursdays. Fridays are Bacardi night, with $3.50 Bacardi drinks. The upstairs is a lounge with two pool tables and a 70-inch TV, as well as a variety of couches for people to relax on in-between bouts on the dance floor. You can also order pizza at Aurora from the Smashed Tomato Pizza Place, which is inside the club.

St James's Gate Olde Irish Pub

St James's Gate Olde Irish Pub is a popular old-style pub that serves 55 scotches and 10 Irish whiskeys, as well as many popular draft beers. It is a popular spot for those looking to relax and eat good pub food with an Irish theme, like potato nachos or steak, Guinness and mushroom pie. They also serve a variety of burgers and salads. The bar looks like something straight from Ireland, and they host live music on weekends, with everything from traditional Irish music to rock and blues bands appearing on the stage.
