Things to Do in Las Vegas for Halloween
Las Vegas may be the perfect place to celebrate Halloween: shows abound, costumes are the norm almost everywhere and fun, music and over-the-top thrills are always in order. Whether you're in town for the RE/MAX Long Drive Golf Championship finals or just trying some of the golf greens in town, celebrating Halloween in Las Vegas is an experience not to be missed.

Monster Mayhem

This one-of-a-kind haunted village, housed either at the Orleans Arena or the Town Square Mall (depending on the year), is actually a complex of three to seven houses that change from year to year, but in the past have included a meathouse, a castle, a hotel, mansion, jailhouse, crematorium and the morbid clown manor. The houses include fog-filled rooms, live actors and tons of special effects. A graveyard sits among the houses and allows visitors a chance to be scared by the ghouls walking around. Monster Mayhem runs from the second Friday of October until the 31st, 7 p.m. to midnight, every day of the week.

Fright Dome at Circus Circus

Adventure Dome is a large entertainment complex and indoor amusement park located within Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. While the park has lots of thrills year round, the real frights can be experienced in October, when AdventureDome becomes Fright Dome for the entire month leading up to Halloween. The 5 acre complex offers costumed actors, sound and visual effects, fog and a freak show. The rides are adapted to be even more scary than usual and most are in complete darkness, just to add to the chaos. Haunted houses are set up for the month and stun shows are carried out throughout the day.

Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball

The Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball is held every year at the Alexis Park Hotel and Casino. This is an adults-only event that extends throughout the whole hotel, including the ballroom, bar and restaurant, lobby and even the roof. Live music and top DJs add to the magic of the night. Costumes are a must for entrance and sexy or fetish outfits are encouraged. There are erotic stage performances, laser shows, stilt walkers and other performers, vendors and two dance floors. The fun starts at 10 p.m. and lasts until 4 a.m. For those over 21 only.
