When someone mentions Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, it's hard not to think of golf. With well over 100 golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area, the hardest decision to make is not when to go golfing, but where to go. If you are looking for a quick round or just need to practice your short game, Myrtle Beach has some excellent par-3 executive golf courses that are challenging and entertaining.
Midway Par 3
Midway Par 3 is near the Myrtle Beach International Airport, and features three nine-hole courses and a driving range. Midway prides itself on being the first golf course in Myrtle Beach to offer the option to play "situation golf." Players can choose to play each hole from a difficult lie or to tee off from a traditional mat. A challenging variety of surfaces, such as pine straw and fairway bunkers, will test golf skills and build confidence as players work their way through any of the three courses Midway has to offer. Midway provides the opportunity to practice many of the difficult situations that are wrecking your short game and keeping your scores up.

Harbour View Par 3 and Driving Range
Harbour View Par 3 and Driving Range offers a scenic wooded course that will provide some serious challenges if you happen to stray from the well-manicured fairways. The driving range and the 18-hole course are lit for night play, so you never have to worry about running out of daylight. Harbour View also offers an excellent opportunity for a family outing. Tribal Island Miniature Golf is located on the grounds overlooking the driving range. Wooden bridges, caves and even a simulated erupting volcano will give children some great memories of Myrtle Beach, and it's a great way to introduce them to the game of golf.
