Marriott Key Largo Bay Resort
The 17-acre Marriott Key Largo Bay is a direct oceanfront resort located an hour from Miami. The hotel is a AAA Three-Diamond-rated property and includes one- and two-bedroom suites. Amenities include a full-service day spa, 24-hour fitness center, heated outdoor pool with Jacuzzi and a business center. The hotel features an on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On-site family-friendly watersports activities include dive instruction, snorkeling, parasailing, riding wave runners, aqua cycles and kayaks, boat rentals, deep-sea and back-country sport fishing, private charters and sunset cruises. The Reach Resort
The Reach Resort is a direct oceanfront property and is a part of the Waldorf Astoria Collection. The property underwent a $37 million renovation in 2008, offers 150 guest rooms in a five-story structure, and has 450 feet of private beachfront. The amenities include an oceanfront on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, concierge service, a swimming pool and fitness center, wireless high-speed Internet, room service and a business center.
Family-friendly activities include on-site bicycles, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boats, sailboats, "ocean bikes" and snorkel gear available for rent. The hotel does allow a maximum of two pets up to 25 pounds each; a $125 non-refundable deposit is required. The property is less than five miles from the Key West Golf Club, which has a public 18-hole, par-70 course, and it also has the distinction of being the United States' southernmost golf course.
