Restaurants for Breakfast in Potrero Hill in San Francisco
Potrero Hill is an enclave of San Francisco that gets far more sun than many other areas in the foggy city. The main shopping drag is on 18th Street, between Connecticut and Texas streets, where visitors will find a neighborhood feel complete with nice restaurants, a bookstore, small grocery stores and boutiques. Those looking to have breakfast in the area will have a choice of several restaurants.

Sally's Restaurant

Located just down the hill from the main enclave of the 18th street shopping area, Sally's Restaurant is a sunny diner that serves comfort breakfast foods, such as banana walnut pancakes and eggs Bendict with spiced potatoes in a no-frills atmosphere. The restaurant also serves more lunch type items, such as burgers and burritos.

Just for You Café

The atmosphere here is very retro diner, and serves up traditional breakfast fare, along with substantial amount of Cajun and Louisiana favorites. Itis located in a part of Potrero Hill called the Dogpatch, a hip enclave of the area that was once run-down but has since attracted artists and media types to lay claim on the neighborhood. Breakfast is served every day and dishes include the "Hangtown fry" three eggs scrambled with bacon, oysters and onions, the chili scramble, three eggs topped with chili con carne and diced onions. The menu also features weekend brunch eggs Benedict and crabby bennie, a Creole crab cake on toast with hollandaise sauce.
