Pru Thai
If you're in the mood for food with a nice spicy kick, then Pru Thai is for you. This little restaurant serves a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes. You can sample the cucumber salad for an appetizer or, if you are more daring, you can pick the item on the menu called simply called "Crying Tiger." This restaurant also boasts its own special tea menu that has several different varieties of tea, including ginger and rose flavors, that can be ordered by the cup or the pot. Lunch or dinner shouldn't run you more than $25 per person, as of 2009.

Old River House
The Old River House has an eclectic menu, featuring foods from many different cultures. You can check it out before or after your golf game, because it is open for breakfast and dinner daily. Old River House also has a breakfast buffet on the weekends. The menu includes such items as Cajun chicken, spinach salad, gorgonzola fritters and a grilled seafood combo, which features salmon and shrimp. As of 2009, the buffet costs from $12 to $17 per person, but dinner here will run you about $20 to $30 per person.

Clinton Towne Restaurant
When you're in Clinton, what better place to sample the local fare than at the restaurant named after the town? You can stop in before your golf game for a light breakfast, or come in after playing for some lunch. This is more of a diner than anything else, serving many diner classics. You can order eggs in the morning, prepared virtually any way you can think of, or if you want something a little sweeter, you can get French toast or a Belgian waffle. For lunch, you can stay light and have a Greek salad, or go for one of the many burgers, or maybe a Reuben sandwich will fit your appetite. Breakfast shouldn't cost you more than $10, but lunch can run you up to $15--based on 2009 prices.
