Joe's Brewery
Within walking distance of Assembly Hall is Joe's Brewery, where you can find a menu full of food and lots of beer (with mixed drinks available) when the game's over. For those who want to see the game, not only are there televisions inside the bar, but Joe's has 50-inch plasma televisions in the beer garden.

Kam's
Kam's is a good place to go after the game or to watch the game. You can play darts, dance or just sit around and enjoy a few drinks. Keep in mind that, among the sports bars near Assembly Hall, Kam's does tend to get one of the youngest crowds. However, it's also a hangout for Illini athletes if you are looking to spot possible future sports stars.

Houlihan's
Houlihan's, located in the I Hotel, is directly across the street from Assembly Hall. The bar/restaurant is also next to the indoor golf facility, the soccer field and the Atkins Tennis Center, so sports is the center of attention here. Although the food and drink menu is pretty typical of a Houlihan's restaurant, look for specials that cater to the happenings of the Fighting Illini.
