Downtown Atlanta Hotels in Safe Areas
Many golfers stay in downtown Atlanta because it is convenient when trying to play courses such as Brown's Mill, Bobby Jones and Candler Park, which are all within a few miles of downtown. Many of the top hotels are within walking distance of major Atlanta attractions such as the Georgia Dome and Turner Field, which are considered safe areas of the city because of the number of people walking and shopping during the day. According to the Atlanta Police Department, crime has been decreasing throughout the 2000s, but there are some trouble spots, such as College Park.

It is within walking distance of popular Atlanta attractions, including the World of Coca-Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
