Hotels in Fredonia, Arizona
Higher and steeper than its better-known sister, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is a secret to discover. Cooler weather and seasonal access (May to November), leave lots of uncrowded space for the North Rim visitor. The Coral Cliffs Golf Course is located just across the Utah state line from Fredonia in Kanab. Hunting, limited fishing, hiking and cycling are among the area activities. The North side of the Grand Canyon is far more rustic than the crowded South Rim.

Crazy Jug Motel, Fredonia

The Crazy Jug is the largest of the three motels and most actively used in Fredonia. It caters to hunters and active visitors to the area. The motel is named after a breathtaking North Rim scenic overlook, Crazy Jug Point. The motel opened in 1994, and is family-owned. It has a family-style restaurant and gift shop featuring Native American jewelry and memorabilia. The motel is decorated in Southwestern style and the building is finished in pine-log siding for a "pioneer" look. Rooms are furnished with log furniture, and amenities include a phone, cable TV and air conditioning.
