The Gold Strike casino has more than 50,000 square feet of space for gaming and 1,000 hotel rooms (some with views of the Mississippi River). It has three restaurants and a buffet. Gold Strike has the highest bet limit of the area's casinos. The casino is the host for the World Poker Tour. It participates in Players Club, the MGM casino rewards program. The Gold Strike is the site of Tunica's only nightclub. Visitors enjoy famous entertainers at the Millennium Theatre and live music on the casino stage. Gaming options include 16 poker tables in the special second floor poker room. Sam's Town
Sam's Town has a smaller hotel, with 850 rooms, but the casino has slots and gaming tables on two levels. It has the only live keno games in the area and hosts regular Texas hold 'em poker tournaments. It has four restaurants. The world-famous Corky's BBQ of Memphis and the seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday draw huge crowds. The 1,600-seat entertainment center is one of the largest in Tunica. Sam's Town participates in the B Connected Players Card program, in association with the Boyd Casinos group. The casino has a golf package that includes the green fee, a cart and one round of golf at the River Bend Links, an 18-hole course on the Mississippi River. Guests also receive a free breakfast buffet and a cold beer at any Sam's Town bar with stay-and-play packages.
