Jacob Lake Inn
Just what you would expect from a rural, rustic lodge, the Jacob Lake Inn has conventional accommodations in a lodge building. Its standard rooms are made more homey with a wonderful bakery and an out-of-the-1940s lunch counter that seems to be packed all day and all night. The Inn is a grocery, gift shop, bakery, motel lobby, and diner all in one. The Inn, like all properties on the North Rim, is open seasonally.

Kaibab Lodge
A rustic log building, the Kaibab (KYE-bab) Lodge is located on a lush meadow about five miles north of the Grand Canyon National Park entrance. Its isolated setting is punctuated by visits from bugling elk and howling coyote. The Lodge has access to hiking, cycling, and hunting, and casual dining.

Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim, Grand Canyon National Park
Near-luxury on the edge of the world, the Grand Canyon Lodge is one of the National Park's Grand Dame jewels. Not as old as El Tovar across the rim, this rustic, historic, and elegant property has extraordinary views. In addition to hotel rooms, the Lodge offers adjoining housekeeping cabins, several dining options, and access to hiking. For those formidable hikers, it's only 11 miles across the Canyon to the South Rim, with a 5,000 drop and gain in elevation along the way.
