Chances are that if you're a golf enthusiast, you probably enjoy the outdoors, the fresh air and the sun. Las Vegas has a lot of this, but you wouldn't always know it if you spend most of your time gambling, taking in shows and eating indoors. Fortunately, Vegas has a few outdoor restaurants that provide you with all three of these elements, plus primo views of the strip.
Mon Ami Gabi
Mon Ami Gabi may be a French bistro, but it offers a variety of breakfast dishes and steak dinners that will satisfy anybody's taste, whether you're in the mood for Parisian food or not. The view from Mon Ami Gabi's patio dining area is just as good as the food. Not only does it provide prime people-watching views of the pedestrians on Las Vegas Boulevard, but it's also directly across the street from the Bellagio's famous fountains show. Heat lamps are supplied when the patio area gets too cold, and a shade is rolled out when the sun beats down. Specialties include eggs Benedict, steak Bearnaise, seared sea scallops and onion soup au gratin.

Hawaiian Tropic Zone
At the entrance to Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops is the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. Though the theme is exactly what the name would lead you to believe--mostly scantily clad Hawaiian Tropic girls who serve food and drinks in a VIP-esque outdoor patio area--this restaurant's ambiance and food are enjoyable. Common menu items include fine-dining options like beef carpaccio and paella for dinner, while popular all-American fare, such as nachos, mini hot dogs and cheeseburgers, is also available. The patio area resides on the Las Vegas strip but boasts a pool-area environment that makes guests feel as though they're tucked away at one of the trendy hotel pools.
