Hypnosis Show
Even after leaving one of the hypnosis shows in Las Vegas, you may still not be convinced that hypnosis is real; you may still be a skeptic, but at least you'll be a very entertained skeptic. A word of warning is necessary, however: most of these shows get pretty raunchy and you could find yourself doing things you might be embarrassed about afterward. At the same time, of course, watching other people embarrass themselves can be a great way to spend an evening.
Bali Hai Golf Course
This is a public course that benefits from the old real adage of location, location, location. The greens fees are a bit on the high side, but you can get from a room at Mandalay Bay and onto the course in record time. Another reason for the popularity of this course is the availability of caddies, so you can take a break from lugging your clubs around in the hot Vegas sun. If you have trouble dealing with water hazards, you might want to try another Vegas course, but if you enjoy the idea of driving among tropical plants, then this is the course for you.

Stratosphere Tower
The tallest structure west of the Mississippi River rises 1,149 feet into the air and offers the most incredible view of Las Vegas that can be had. That might be enough right there to warrant a visit, but there is so much more when you get to the top. Some of the scariest thrill rides in the world are located here at the top of the roof of Las Vegas. The X-Scream is essentially the most incredible see-saw on Earth that dangles riders 27 feet over the edge. The Big Shot shoots you straight up into the air 165 feet at 45 mph. Insanity the Ride is not for the faint of heart or those who don't like heights, though if you suffer that phobia you probably won't make it anywhere near the ride. Imagine hanging out 64 feet away from edge and looking down to find there is nothing between you and the ground but 866 feet of solid air.
