Pocono Mountain Vacation Resorts

Pocono Mountain Vacation Resorts
The Poconos are famous for the NASCAR's Pocono 500 held at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond. The Pocono Mountains also play a crucial part in the history of golf---the first PGA Championships were held at a local course over 70 years ago. In the tourist-friendly region of the Pocono Mountains, plenty of fantastic resorts exist to serve as base camp for your vacation.

Mount Airy Casino Resort

The Mount Airy Golf Course is one of Golflink's top 100 golf courses in the United States, and the Mount Airy Casino resort is one of the newer Pocono Mountains resorts. It was the first casino to break ground in the Pocono Mountains after gambling became permitted. The nightly entertainment includes a variety of acts such as singer Pam Tyllis and inspirational speaker Richard Simmons. The fitness center offers cardio and fitness equipment such as treadmills. Visit the on-site spa and salon during a break from the golf course for a little relaxation or primping. The 18-hole golf course at the resort is 6,000 yards of fairway and water. The staff at the course enforces a strict dress code that prohibits jeans, halter tops, cut off jeans, flip flops, and t-shirts.
