Womens Guide for What to Pack for Las Vegas
Las Vegas' temperate climate lends itself to a casual wardrobe. Pack cool, comfortable clothing for the most part, with some dressier garments and accessories for a romantic night out or a trip to a high-end club. Get started with this women's guide to make sure you don't forget anything.

Most Important

For a golfing enthusiast, clubs seem the most important item to pack for a Las Vegas trip--you're not likely to run out of challenging courses to play. But clubs can be a cumbersome item to handle if you are flying, and most courses offer rentals. Make sure you pack golf shoes, gloves and several outfits. It's important to feel comfortable, with your own things, while enjoying your favorite sport.

Daywear

Casual wear you feel comfortable in will be the bulk of your clothing. Consider shorts, T-shirt tops, cotton slacks and shirts. Bring a sweater or hoodie in case the temperature takes a dip, as it can in the evening--the weather is also a bit cooler in early spring and fall. Most important, bring comfortable walking shoes. You will most likely leave your car in a parking garage and walk to most locations, such as shopping, restaurants or casinos.

Evening Wear

You may be tempted to leave your dressier clothing at home. But if you think you might have a special evening--dining at a five-star restaurant or attending a gala show--it's best to be prepared with a pair of heels and a bit of sparkle.

Accessories

Bring sunglasses, especially if they are prescription. You can always purchase an inexpensive generic pair, but if you need them to see, you'll be stuck--or worse, wearing regular glasses or contacts and squinting when you are outdoors.

A bathing suit is something you can easily forget. You might not wear it every day and therefore think of it more as an accessory. Bringing your own is especially important if you have difficulty fitting in off-the-rack suits.

Sunscreen is only important to pack if you require a certain brand. Otherwise, it is easily found throughout Las Vegas.

Don't forget a watch. You'll need it for meeting up with others in your group. Most casinos run on the premise that it is the "eternal now," and you may not readily be able to find a clock.

Makeup and personal toiletries are always important, although with the casual atmosphere, minimal makeup the norm.

Extras

Don't forget your digital camera. The next best thing to visiting Las Vegas is creating a memorable picture album of your trip.

If you are from outside North America, you will want to bring at least one power converter. You can easily order these from an online source.
