Hotels in Jerome, Arizona
The history-laden mining town of Jerome, Arizona, offers small hotels clinging to the hillsides with breathtaking views of the Sedona red rocks and the Verde Valley. If that's not enough to lure you towards all the art galleries and antique shops, many of the hotels are reported to be haunted, several to the extent of offering haunting tours. No golf is available in Jerome, but a day away from the links hiking the hills and stairs offers a true west experience. Nearby on one side of the hill are the golf courses in Cottonwood and Sedona. On the other side of the hill, the courses in Prescott await a golfer. Only a few thousand people call Jerome "home" these days. It's an art colony town.

Grand Hotel

The Jerome Grand Hotel is located just about as far up the mountain as can be reached. An old hospital and asylum, it is the leading lady in the legends haunting the town. The views from the hotel are breathtaking.

Connor Hotel

The Connor Hotel, first opened in 1898 has quite a history through the Town's heyday and into its decline to a near ghost town -- that is, without living people. Thoroughly modernized with Wi-Fi, the Connor Hotel may haunt some area residents as the place they stayed after too much of a night on the town.
