You know you found Wonder Works when see a large white building with huge columns that's upside down. Step inside to "an amusement park for the mind" that contains more than 100 interactive displays and a dinner show. Exhibits include a life-size space shuttle, fighter jets, astronaut space suits, virtual sports, earthquake simulator, virtual combats, bubble lab, bed of nails, wonder coaster and many other hands-on experiences. Other highlights include a 10,000-square-foot lazer tag and arcade area, a dinner show that features magic and comedy, plus a cafe and gift shop. Wonder Works is open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight and offers various pricing packages.

Aquatica by SeaWorld
Aquatica by SeaWorld is not your ordinary water park, because it features live dolphins among the numerous water activities. Situated diagonally from SeaWorld just off of International Drive, Aquatica's flourishing tropical South Seas setting contains 60,000 diverse types of plant life, an 80,000-square-foot white sandy beach and a constant water temperature of 84 degrees in all areas. Highlights of the water park include private cabanas, six lagoons and rivers, plus 36 water slides, such as the Dolphin Plunge -- a tubular slide that takes you through a dolphin habitat. Other on-site services include restaurants, food carts and a variety of boutiques and gift shops.

Pointe Orlando
Pointe Orlando sits in the middle of International Drive and features an assorted mixture of distinctive shopping, dining and entertainment options. Choose from more than 20 retail stores selling all types of goods, from accessories to specialty-item boutiques, and more than 10 restaurant and lounge options. Entertainment includes a 20-screen movie complex and an IMAX theater offering you a chance to see the most recent movie blockbusters. Pointe Orlando is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, but several of the bars and restaurants stay open longer.
