Flagstaff, Arizona is the gateway to Northern Arizona. The Little America resort is one of several in a chain that includes the Grand America in Salt Lake City and Little America locations throughout the southwest. Flagstaff's Little America outpost is located in a 500-acre private forest. Room amenities include a hair dryer, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, movies and video games on-demand, high-speed Internet, phone jack with data port and room service. Arizona Snowbowl

Located on the San Francisco peaks, Arizona Snowbowl is one of the oldest continually operating ski resorts in the U.S. The resort opened in 1938 and since then tourists have been taken up the San Francisco peaks so that they could ski back down. The facility owns four day-use lodges in addition to the Ski Lift Lodge and Cabins at the base of the San Francisco peaks. Guests staying at the Ski Lift Lodge and Cabins receive free lift tickets as part of the resort's packages. The lodge has 25 units, including cabins and lodge rooms. Amenities include linens, toiletries and an alarm. Arizona Snowbowl also staffs a full-service restaurant that provides continental breakfasts and hot dinners.

Wyndham Flagstaff Resort

According to the website for the Wyndham Flagstaff Resort, the resort offers townhome comfort at hotel room prices. That's because the units at the wyndham Flagstaff Resort are actual townhomes. The buildings are timeshare properties that the resort manages for the owners. Amenities include a playground, horseshoe pit, outdoor heated pool, mini golf course, a nine-hole putt and chip golf course, driving range, basketball court, fitness center, outdoor barbecue grills, scheduled family activities, a spa located on the Wyndham property and a hot tub. The Wyndham is adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course with a clubhouse and country club amenities including a café, swimming pool, pro shop and tennis courts.
