Buca di Beppo
Friendly, delicious and fun, Buca di Beppo is used to seating groups from 4 to 40. Located south of Market, the restaurant is fairly boisterous, which is perfect if you're dining with kids. The restaurant serves family style. Platters come in sizes to serve two (small) or many (large). Appetizers include multiple types of garlic bread, bruschetta and Italian salads, like mozzarella and tomato. Salads include Caesar and chopped salad variations. Another Italian choice, Puccini and Pinetti, has a full bar and extensive wine list. The menu revolves around Italian classics, such as lasagna and spaghetti with meat balls, with occasional seasonal specialties. The restaurant is quite loud and casual, which makes it great for eating with kids. The children have their own menu, which includes pasta, macaroni and cheese, or the chance to build their own pizza. The regular menu includes soups, salads, pastas, pizza, chicken and steak.

Yank Sing
Fresh, delicious Chinese food is Yank Sing's specialty. The restaurant was a 2009 winner of the James Beard award. It features dim sum (small plates brought round on carts, from which you can choose). They feature fresh, local ingredients, and their Peking Duck is a local favorite.
They have two locations in the city: Rincon Center and Stevenson street. The Rincon Center location is ideal for those exploring the Embarcadero, Farmer's Market and Ferry Building. Both locations offer seating, and the Rincon Center location also has a to-go counter.
