Green Lakes State Park is a 2,100-acre natural preserve located east of Syracuse in the suburb of Fayetteville. In addition to a large sand-bottom lake, beach and numerous hiking trails, the park has an 18-hole public golf course. The 6,212-yard course was one of the first designed by famed golf architect Robert Trent Jones. The course is tree lined and fairways are hilly, adding to the challenges of each hole.

Built in 2008, the Holiday Inn and Suites in Dewitt is located at the Bridge Street exit from Interstate 690.
