Just outside of Dallas, Texas, Lewisville is home to a number of excellent golf courses, including the Golf Club at Castle Hills and the Lake Park Executive Golf Course. A number of world-class courses can be found nearby, including the award-winning Lantana Golf Club, the Tribute at the Colony and the Cowboys Golf Course. Although there are no wine bars in the city of Lewisville, there are three within 10 miles, showcasing the wine culture of North Texas. While these bars all feature some Texan wines, for the most part the offerings are much broader, with other New World and Old World regions dominating the lists.
Into the Glass
Into the Glass is a hip wine bar with an emphasis on well-trained wine staff and innovative selections. The menu is primarily comfort food, with fairly standard Texan fare, including some exceptional steaks. The by-the-glass selection is enormous, with page after page available. There is no real focus, with a huge breadth of varietals and wine regions represented. Live music can be found here every weekend as well, making it a great place to unwind casually with friends after a day of golf.

Sonoma Grill & Wine Bar
Sonoma Grill & Wine Bar is a very casual grill with an attached wine bar, serving lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. The food menu is extensive, with a dozen seafood-inspired appetizers, 14 salads, five burgers, eight pizzas, seven different cuts of meat, and an assortment of seafood and chicken. The wine list features 30 wines by the glass, with California particularly well-represented. There's something here for everyone, and the staff is knowledgeable, ready to suggest a pairing for any of the many dishes.

Mercy Wine Bar
Mercy is a casual wine bar located on the outskirts of Dallas near Lewisville. The food menu is basic, with cheese platters, salads, paninis and basic bistro entrées, including a number of seafood dishes. Mercy has a truly inspired tasting selection, with more than 100 wines available by the glass. Wines come from around the world, with an impressive French selection rounding out everywhere from Argentina to Tasmania. Full glasses are available, as are 3 oz. pours paired up into thematic wine flights. The sampling menu is supported by an additional 50 rare and prestigious wines available by the bottle.
