Primm Valley, Nev., is 30 minutes west of Las Vegas on the Nevada/California border Primm Valley. It has three resort-style hotels that offer gaming, amusements and championship golf in the quiet Nevada desert. Each establishment is different, but they are all run by Prime Valley Resorts. When you stay at any of the resort hotels, you get access to Primm Valley Golf Club, which is in Nipton, Calif. It features two championship courses 10 miles outside of town, the 18-hole Lakes Course and the 18-hole Desert Links Course.
Primm Valley Resort and Casino
Primm Valley Resort And Casino is on the south side of Interstate 15 and separated from Buffalo Bill's by a parking lot. The resort offers a selection of restaurants, including a buffet. There's a casino floor with slots and table games, and a center courtyard with a pool and gazebo. The hotel isn't as lavish as some of the Las Vegas casinos, but offers a quieter place to enjoy the desert gambling experience. The 624 rooms are spread out in the low-lying complex and feature amenities like wireless Internet, hair dryers and an ironing board.

Buffalo Bill's
Buffalo Bill's, adjacent to Primm Valley Resort and down from the Primm Outlet Mall, is the fun resort. A large neon sign announces the presence of the resort and it's nearly covered under the rails and metal of a fast roller coaster that sets it apart. The hotel has the appearance of an exaggerated mining shack from the outside but features the same types of rooms and amenities as its sister resorts. And, as with the other two Primm Valley Resorts, the hotel has the latest in gaming with slots, table games, live poker and a sports book. There's a Tony Roma's restaurant, a Wagon Wheel Coffee Shop and the largest selection of fast-food places among the three resorts.
